Fuel consumption measurement and conditioning system
The combination of the fuel balance and the fuel temperature control is used for measurement of the fuel consumption of gasoline and diesel engines on engine and chassis dyno test beds in research and development for measuring quantities up to 1800g. The fuel consumption is determined gravimetrically and enables high measuring accuracies even at low flows and short measuring times.
Important note:
In the event of a device failure, measures for primary explosion protection are necessary. Adequate ventilation in the room of installation is required to prevent the occurrence of an explosive atmosphere!
